Editorial policy
Our guides help behavior technicians, families and practices find their way around ABA rules. They are logistics and navigation content. They are not treatment advice, medical advice or legal advice.
How we research
- We record only what a source we opened supports. Official sources come first: statutes and regulations, state Medicaid and insurance agencies, licensing boards, the BACB and CMS.
- We never invent statute numbers, fees, URLs or dates. If we cannot support a fact, we leave it blank and say so on the page.
- Every guide shows the date we last researched it. Sources are listed under each section.
Confidence labels
- High
- We read an official primary source.
- Medium
- A reputable secondary source, such as an advocacy group or law firm summary.
- Low
- Inferred or conflicting. We show these as "We could not verify this yet", with the underlying note tucked away and marked unconfirmed.
Pages with too little verified information
If a page has too few verified facts, we hide it from search engines until it does. You can still reach it from our state index, and it says plainly what is missing.
Review
Clinical and regulatory review by a named, board-certified behavior analyst is planned but has not been appointed yet. Until then, treat every guide as a research summary and confirm with the agency named on the page.
Corrections
If something is wrong or out of date, email hello@meetallo.com (placeholder address, to be confirmed). We will check the source and update the page and its date.
Independence
MeetAllo connects families, behavior technicians and practices. Guides are not paid placements. If we ever run sponsored content, we will label it clearly.
